Hey there! I’m Susie, the one behind the camera.
I picked up photography in my teen years, shooting black and white film and developing it in my bathroom, which to be honest, wasn’t very cool at the time. When it came to color, the 1-hour photo attendant knew me by name. These days, I’m shooting digital, but I like to think my photos still have that film-feeling. I live in Portland, OR and I specialize in small weddings, elopements, newborns, and folks who consider themselves camera shy. ;)
Susie is such a gem! She was super patient and made my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the photoshoot.

When it comes to photography, I’m always seeking out those subtle, sneaky, fleeting moments. It’s my job to capture the stuff we all tend to take for granted: a stolen kiss, a bout of giggles, a mom helping her daughter with that dang bustle. My goal isn’t just to give you a flawless photo for your Instagram, but to provide you with an entire gallery of photos that will transport you back to those moments year after year, and that you’ll perhaps even share with a future generation.
